E verything around us is raw materials. The clothes you wear, the water you drink, and the fuel you use are natural resources or come from one. A natural resource is anything people take from the environment and use. ( Jerome, Brian. "Exploring Natural Resources"2017 ) Natural resources are separated into two groups which are non-renewable and renewable resources. Non-renewable resources are unsustainable resources that cannot be replenished at the same pace as consumption. Once these substances are used they can take up to several or thousands of years to be replaced. Many non-renewable resources are fossil fuels which are used to create energy. Some examples are coal, natural gas, oil, and minerals. The second natural resource is renewable resources.
